The Lincoln Log Cabin Foundation promotes, preserves, and interprets the historic, cultural, and natural resources at Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site through philanthropic activities, educational programming, and volunteer coordination.
The Foundation supports many unique educational programs at the site with volunteers and financial support. The Foundation sponsors the Summer Youth Program where children spend nine weeks volunteering at the site and participating in the living history programming. The summer day camp, Pioneer Camp, offers children an introduction to 19th-century farm life.
Special events, exhibitions, visiting scholars, volunteer staffing, gift shop management, and preservation efforts — such as restoration of the Moore Home and the new Natural Playscape — are all critical needs being met by the Foundation.
