> Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site preserves the 19th-century home of Thomas Lincoln and Sarah Bush Lincoln — father and stepmother of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. Located in Lerna, Illinois, the 86-acre site features working living history farmsteads, a reconstructed two-room cabin, and year-round educational programming.

## Historic Properties

- Thomas Lincoln Farm: Reconstructed two-room cabin on its original site, built 1935–1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Working living history farm with heirloom crops and period-appropriate livestock.
- Stephen Sargent Farm: Restored 1840s timber-frame farmstead representing progressive farming methods of the era, contrasting with the Lincoln farm's subsistence approach.
- Reuben Moore Home: Where Abraham Lincoln bid farewell to his stepmother Sarah Bush Lincoln in January 1861 before leaving for the White House. Their last meeting.
- Thomas Lincoln Cemetery: Burial site of Thomas Lincoln and Sarah Bush Lincoln, approximately one mile west of the site.
- Camp Shiloh: CCC camp site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ten acres in the northwest corner of the park, staffed by WWI veterans.
